REV. GREGORY TYLER II
Pastor Gregory Tyler II is a dynamic and visionary servant‑leader whose ministry is defined by spiritual excellence, integrity, and a steadfast commitment to advancing the Kingdom of God. Called to ministry at age 26 and grounded in Acts 10:42–43, he began an intentional journey of Christian leadership development, pastoral care training, doctrinal study, and Gospel proclamation—establishing a foundation for a ministry marked by growth, purpose, and transformative impact.
Shaped under the mentorship of Pastor Tyler Sr. and O.D. Tyler, he leads with humility, conviction, and a deep reliance on Christ, echoing his testimony: “My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ and His righteousness.” One of Pastor Tyler’s most distinctive strengths is his unique ability to reach and inspire people across all generations. His preaching and teaching resonate with children, youth, young adults, families, and seniors alike—bridging generational gaps and fostering unity within the body of Christ.
In January 2021, Pastor Tyler was elected Pastor of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, guiding the congregation into a new season of vitality and excellence. Under his leadership, the church has experienced significant membership growth, strengthened its spiritual foundation, modernized its technology and online presence, increased its financial stability, and completed major improvements to its facilities. His leadership has cultivated a culture of excellence, accountability, and forward momentum that continues to propel the church into its next chapter.
Beyond his pastoral role, Pastor Tyler is the founder of GT2 Ministries, a ministry dedicated to offering practical, faith‑based solutions to real‑life challenges. Through this work, he extends his impact beyond the pulpit, equipping individuals and communities with biblical wisdom and transformative support.
