What is the Ministry of the Ministerial Staff?
The Ministerial Staff is made up of men and women who have been called by God and set apart to serve the church through spiritual leadership, biblical teaching, care for God’s people, and support of the overall ministry of the congregation. These ministers work alongside the Pastor to help strengthen the church and advance its mission.
Ministerial staff members serve in many important ways. They may assist in preaching and teaching the Word of God, praying for and encouraging members, supporting worship services, visiting the sick and shut-in, helping with discipleship and spiritual growth, and offering leadership in various areas of church life. Their role is to help meet the spiritual needs of the congregation while helping maintain order, unity, and faithful ministry within the body of Christ.
In addition to serving the church, the Ministerial Staff also assists the Pastor by helping carry out the vision of the ministry. They support the Pastor in shepherding the congregation, sharing ministry responsibilities, encouraging members, and helping ensure that the work of the church continues effectively and faithfully. Through humility, service, prayer, and obedience to God, the Ministerial Staff helps the Pastor lead with greater strength, care, and spiritual support.
Together, the Ministerial Staff is committed to serving the church with love, faithfully handling the Word of God, and helping build up the body of Christ for His glory.
